Sterling Kanmantoo · Harrogate · Woodside · Callington · Norton Summit

Sterling Kanmantoo · Harrogate · Woodside · Callington · Norton Summit
This ride is about 220 Kms starts out from the Sterling Hotel Stirling and heads east through the Adelaide Hills via a flowing mix of sealed backroads, linking Kanmantoo and Harrogate before turning back toward Woodside. Expect smooth, well-surfaced country roads with long sweepers, gentle elevation changes, and generally good visibility, making it an enjoyable and confidence-building route for most riders. From Woodside the road begins to climb again as you work north-west toward Norton Summit, with tighter corners, cooler air, and increasingly scenic views as you gain height. Traffic is usually light outside peak times, but watch for cyclists, wildlife, and leaf litter in shaded sections. It’s a rewarding Hills loop that balances relaxed cruising with enough bends to keep things interesting, finishing with a classic run into Norton Summit.
